Terms of Service

CareerDesks is a job search management tool. It helps you build and download resumes, manage resume versions and cover letters, save jobs, and track applications and interviews. CareerDesks is not a job portal, recruiter, or employment agency. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any hiring outcome.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
• Do not share an account or create extra accounts to get around usage limits or payments.

You own the resumes, cover letters, job details, notes, and other content you add to CareerDesks ("Your Content"). You allow us to store, process, and display Your Content only to run the Service for you, for example to save your resume, create a PDF, or run an AI feature you ask for.

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not upload content that is false, that you have no right to use, or that is unlawful. Check that every resume and application you send to an employer is accurate.

Some features use third-party artificial intelligence services to read an uploaded resume or suggest improvements. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so review every suggestion before you use it. Usage limits apply to AI features and may change.

• Some features, such as downloading a resume or unlocking a premium template, need a one-time payment. The price is shown before you pay.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Introductory offers and discounts may change or end at any time; this does not affect purchases you have already made.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never receive or store your full card, UPI, or bank details.
• CareerDesks does not sell subscriptions, so you will never be charged automatically.

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as described in the payments, refunds, and cancellation section of our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone else's rights while using the Service;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or test the security of the Service without our written permission;
• copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, its templates, or its code;
• send automated traffic that puts an unreasonable load on the Service;
• upload malware or use the Service to send spam.

The Service, including its design, software, resume templates, and branding, belongs to CareerDesks. You may use the resumes you create for your own job search, including sending them to employers. You may not resell or redistribute our templates.

The Service relies on third parties for hosting, data storage, payments, AI, and analytics, and links to job sites we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services; their own terms apply when you use them.

We work to keep CareerDesks available and your data safe, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and we may add, change, or remove features. Keep your own copies of important documents.

To the fullest extent the law allows, CareerDesks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities, lost income, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, misuse the Service, or if the law requires it. Amounts already paid are not refunded when an account is closed for a breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms. When we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app or by email. Using the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
